Feature Request: Excel report button

Feature Request: Excel report button
Now that we seem to be getting closer to seeing FB 7 I would like to ask for some of the things we have asked for in the past.

Add an Excel (CVS) button to FB. The button should use the current filter and export all the cases in that filter to an Excel or CVS file.

I think I'm safe in saying that this feature is code-complete.  Unless some other, more important feature doesn't play nice with it, kicking it off the card, it's safe to say this will be there.

Are you aware of this? (Instructions follow for Excel 2007)

In Fogbugz list the cases you want to export with the columns you want.
Open Excel
Data -> From Web
Enter the FogBugz URL in the Address Bar
Click the Yellow arrow above the cases so it turns into a green checkbox
Click Import
Select where you want it.

And there you go, exported data.

Thanks Ray, yes I know how to pull data into Excel. The point is I should not need to do this to get a defect report in Excel.

While this works great for technical users try explaining that to a customer service manager that needs to generate reports for his meetings. Ends up being easier for me to just do it myself and I really don't have time for either option.

Not that another explanation will help, but:

As I said, this is simply waiting for the next release.  We've heard loud and clear that this is wanted.
